Mark Oney

Mark Oney reports to the CEO and provides leadership and general management of the Managed Tax Services business unit, ensuring that MTS revenue, profit, and strategic objectives are achieved.  He has 20+ years of experience in product development and delivery for companies ranging from early stage start-ups to large multi-nationals. He has managed large, distributed development organizations and has a rich history of delivering successful products to market.  At Sabrix, Mark is responsible for corporate product development and corporate tax services, business unit sales and marketing, and pre- and post-sales professional services.

Prior to Sabrix, Mark served as Vice President of Engineering and Client Services for Evant. He led the expansion of their Java suite of planning, replenishment and forecasting products, doubling the productive capacity of the engineering organization in the process through an aggressive offshore ramp-up. In 2005, Evant was acquired by Manhattan Associates, Inc.

Prior to Evant, Mark joined Extensity, Inc in 1999 as Vice President of Engineering. While at Extensity, Mark led the development of a Java-based suite of front office products which are actively used in deployments of 30000+ seats and in over 45 countries. His team spanned multiple locations, including an offshore operation. Mark also served as a key member of the senior leadership team that took Extensity public in January 2000.

Prior to Extensity, Mark’s entrepreneurial work included co-founding Crag Technologies, where he lead the development of a Java-based storage management application suite, and Ridge Technologies, where he served as Vice President of Software Engineering. Mark also worked in numerous engineering and leadership capacities at Apple Computer over 12 years, leading several development teams in the delivery of over 20 successful products.

Mark holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
